I met with DeAnn Dietrich Friday September 21 and discussed the concerns and recommendations I received addressing Parking. The number one issue is SAFETY. If you do not feel comfortable walking out to your vehicle ask the POLICE for an escort. If you are parked in the E Lot, Beacon Ave, or the Church across the street, be aware there is no place to go in the event of an emergency. All doors to the facility are locked except for the Urgent Care Entrance. BE SAFE!

Vehicle Safety – The VA Police do not have authority off of VA Property. Hiring a security guard to patrol the off site parking is being considered.

Valet Parking is not a DEAD issue. It is still being looked at. The cost is the main issue.

Remember, the Veteran's we serve are faced with the same parking issues as we are.

All suggestions to ease the parking situation are welcome and will be presented to management for consideration.
